Upload Portal: Petitions for waivers of strict compliance of the Court's Rules (22 NYCRR 520.14, 521.7)

Petitions for waivers of strict compliance pursuant to Rules 520.14 and 521.7 may be uploaded rather than submitted by mail. Information on the substantive requirements for waiver petitions is available on the Court's Attorney Admissions page, here.

Use of the Upload Portal is not mandatory. Petitions may be submitted by mail.

To use the Upload Portal, please e-mail [email protected] and include your first and last name and a general statement of the relief you seek. If appropriate, the Clerk's Office will provide a Pin Number and unique identifier by return email. The Pin Number and unique identifier must be used to access the Upload Portal.

A petition submitted by the Upload Portal must be notarized and in text searchable portable document format (PDF) and the file should be named as follows: [Applicant Last Name]_[Applicant First Name]_Petition_[Date].

Exhibits in support of the petition must be uploaded as a separate file and named as follows: [Applicant Last Name]_[Applicant First Name]_Exhibits_[Date].

Digital submissions may not exceed a file size of 100 megabytes. Filers are permitted to upload up to five documents per uploading session.

Multiple files should be named accordingly: [Last Name]_[First Name]_Exhibits_Vol2_[Date].

Upon receipt of a Pin Number and unique identifier from the Clerk's Office, file below:

STEP ONE: Enter Pin:       * PIN is required.

STEP THREE: Enter your e-mail address to receive notification of a successful upload:
